Following the recommendations of public health officials, the UC Women’s Chorale is preparing an exciting variety of online activities to keep the music alive until in-person activities can resume safely. We welcome you to join us as we continue making music together this Spring.

Interest Form – No Auditions Spring 2021
We will not be auditioning this term; instead everyone is invited to participate! If you are interested in singing with us during this special virtual semester, please read more about our planned activities below and fill out our Interest Form. We hope to resume our usual auditions in Fall 2021, and having participated this Spring will speak volumes about one’s readiness and willingness to be a valued chorale member.
Our current plans for the Fall are outlined below. We are designing this semester to be flexible so that everyone can participate at a level that is reasonable and fulfilling. While our activities are subject to change, we expect to offer:
- Zoom rehearsals every Wednesday and Friday to learn music and prepare for our recording projects.
- 3-4 virtual choral projects which professionally combine individual recordings into a high-level ensemble presentation.
- Social events, including trivia and game nights, Netflix parties, study buddy sessions, chillin’ on the glade, and more!
- Optional enrichment every Monday and Thursday evening, open to all UC singers. Activities will include lessons in vocal technique and musicianship, relaxed listening parties, and exploring masterpieces of the choral art. When in-person rehearsals are allowed, those that take part will ‘hit the ground running!’
